Lipo-C Dosing Protocol

Lipo-C is administered subcutaneously twice per week. Consistent timing helps maintain steady nutrient levels and supports the compound's cumulative effect on fat metabolism.

Lipo-C draw amount reference

Recommended Dose Protocol
PhaseDose & FrequencyDraw Amount
Week 1 (intro)0.5mL, 2x per week50 units
Week 2+ (maintenance)1mL, 2x per week100 units
Do not exceed 1mL (100 units) per injection or 2mL per week. Lipo-C is a lipotropic blend. Volumes above the full maintenance dose increase choline-related gastrointestinal effects without added fat-metabolism benefit.

Administration Timing

Lipo-C is administered twice per week, with many users preferring morning dosing to align with the body's natural peak in metabolic activity. Consistent timing supports steady tissue levels of methionine, choline, and carnitine.

  • Morning administration: Dosing in the morning, ideally before breakfast, may support fat oxidation during the active part of the day when metabolic rate is higher.
  • Pre-exercise timing: Some protocols place a dose 30–45 minutes before physical activity to support carnitine-mediated fatty acid transport during exercise.
  • Consistency over timing: Injecting on the same days each week matters more than the precise hour; irregular timing can disrupt the cumulative lipotropic effect.
  • Not exercise-dependent: Lipotropic compounds work over time through nutrient accumulation, so keep your two weekly doses on schedule whether or not you train that day.

Hold the same two days each week; the fat-metabolism support provided by Lipo-C builds over weeks of consistent use rather than from any single dose.

Notes & Best Practices

  • Start at the lower dose: Beginning at 0.5mL lets you assess individual tolerance before moving to the full 1mL maintenance volume.
  • Hydration matters: Methionine and carnitine metabolism both generate byproducts that the kidneys clear; adequate water intake (2–3 L/day) supports this process.
  • Pair with a caloric deficit: Lipo-C supports fat mobilization but works best alongside a modest caloric deficit; it is not a standalone weight-loss agent.
  • Rotate injection sites: Alternate between the abdomen, outer thigh, and upper arm each session to prevent localized irritation or lipodystrophy from repeated needle use in one area.
  • Track your vial: Note the date of first use and discard after 28–30 days of opening, regardless of remaining volume.
  • Inspect before every draw: Discard the vial if the solution becomes cloudy, changes colour, or develops any visible particles; these indicate degradation.

High Dosage Side Effects

Taking too much Lipo-C can increase the likelihood of unwanted side effects. Signs that your dose may be too high include:

  • Nausea or stomach discomfort: High choline intake is commonly associated with gastrointestinal upset, this typically presents as a queasy or unsettled feeling shortly after dosing.
  • Fishy body odour: Excess choline can be converted to trimethylamine in the gut, producing a distinctive fishy smell, a well-documented and reversible effect of high choline doses.
  • Headaches: Elevated methionine or choline levels may trigger headaches in sensitive individuals, often presenting as a dull pressure behind the eyes or at the temples.
  • Low blood pressure: High-dose carnitine has been associated with mild vasodilation in some users, signs include lightheadedness when standing or a general sense of fatigue.
  • Injection site reactions: Increased local redness, swelling, or prolonged soreness at the injection site may indicate that the volume being injected is too large for that location.

If any of these signs occur, reduce your dose by 50% and hold at the lower level for one week. If symptoms persist, pause use and consult a healthcare professional before continuing.

Low Dosage Side Effects

A dose may be too low if expected effects are absent after several weeks of consistent administration. Common indicators include:

  • No change in energy levels: Carnitine and B5 both support cellular energy production, a persistent lack of improvement in daily energy or exercise endurance after 3–4 weeks suggests the dose may not be sufficient.
  • No measurable change in body composition: If fat loss progress has stalled despite a caloric deficit and consistent use, the lipotropic load may be too low to produce a meaningful effect on fat mobilization.
  • Persistent fatigue: Choline and dexpanthenol both support neurotransmitter and energy pathways, fatigue that doesn't improve after several weeks of use can indicate underdosing at the nutrient level.

If these indicators persist after completing a full intro-to-maintenance dose phase, advance to the full 1mL maintenance dose and confirm that the vial has been stored correctly at 2–8°C; improper storage can reduce potency even before the expiry window.
