Both peptides in the Cognitive Stack are administered once daily via subcutaneous injection, each drawn separately from its own vial. Morning is the required timing for both, Semax supports daytime focus and mental drive, and Selank sets a calm baseline before the day's stress builds. No fasting is required. Avoid alcohol and sedatives during the cycle, as these act on the same calming pathway Selank uses. Do not administer either peptide late in the evening, both can interfere with sleep onset in sensitive individuals.

Both peptides follow a 14-day active cycle with a mandatory 14-day rest. Semax is studied at 500–1,000mcg/day subcutaneously; 500mcg is the recommended starting maintenance dose with advance to 1,000mcg only after a full cycle at 500mcg with insufficient response. Selank is approved for up to 14 consecutive daily doses at 500mcg/day; the rest period prevents GABA receptor desensitisation and is not optional. Both cycles run in sync, start and rest together. At 2mL BAC each, both vials yield 5,000mcg/mL, 1 unit = 50mcg on a U-100 syringe.

In biohacking forums, extended patterns of 4 weeks on / 2–4 weeks off at 500mcg/day for each peptide are common for ongoing cognitive maintenance, sometimes paired on a 5-days-on / 2-days-off weekly schedule. These are community-derived, not clinical. Always complete the standard 14-day cycle first, and keep rest periods at least as long as the active phase.

Both injections are given on the same morning, back to back, from separate syringes. Never draw both into the same syringe. Inject Semax first, rotate the site, then inject Selank.

• Label both vials before refrigerating: Both reconstituted solutions are clear and colourless. A labelling mistake is the most common error with two-vial stacks, label immediately after reconstitution, before they go in the fridge.
• Never mix in the same syringe: Semax and Selank must always be drawn and administered separately. Mixing risks peptide degradation from pH incompatibility.
• Cycles run in sync: Start both on Day 1 and rest both on Day 15. Do not stagger the cycles, the complementary mechanism works best when both are active or resting simultaneously.
• Intro phase draws: Semax starts at 250mcg (5 units) and Selank starts at 100mcg (2 units) on a U-100 syringe. Use a 3mL micro needle for accuracy at low volumes.

Taking too much of either peptide can increase side effects. Signs your dose may be too high:

• Semax, headache or overstimulation: The most commonly reported sign at above-range doses. Reduce Semax back to 250mcg for 2–3 days before attempting 500mcg again.
• Semax, irritability or anxiety: Dopamine and serotonin modulation can tip into restlessness at too high a dose. Reduce Semax if mood shifts negatively, do not increase Selank to compensate.
• Selank, excessive sedation or emotional blunting: Selank should produce calm focus, not drowsiness or emotional flatness. Reduce to 250mcg if either occurs.
• Both, injection site irritation: Redness not resolving within 24 hours. Rotate sites more consistently and reduce dose volume.
• Both, sleep disruption: Move dosing earlier in the morning and reduce both to 250mcg if sleep is affected.

If any of these occur, reduce the affected peptide to 250mcg and hold for the remainder of the cycle.

A dose may be too low if expected effects are absent after consistent use. Common indicators:

• Semax, no improvement in focus or mental clarity by days 7–10: Complete the full 14-day cycle at 500mcg, take the rest, then consider 1,000mcg on the next cycle.
• Selank, no reduction in anxiety after 5–7 days at 500mcg: Confirm injection technique and timing before adjusting. If unchanged after the full 14-day cycle, repeat with consistent morning dosing.
• Both, no change in mood or cognitive baseline by day 10: Absence of any effect after a full cycle suggests either underdosing or that a repeat cycle is needed before effects become apparent.

If these indicators persist after a full 14-day cycle, take the required rest and repeat. Assess on the second full cycle before considering dose adjustments.
